After a quick game with a saboteur element we looked at the story of Judas. One of the disciples who was close to Jesus and part of the group. Judas had the teaching of Jesus, he saw the miracles. He loved Jesus but sadly he loved something else more - money. Despite seeming to be a true part of the group he worked against them in the end. The children talked about some things in life that are important to them - all of them good things but still we need to put Jesus first. They drew some brilliant 'photographs' to add into a camera they had made. Things they felt important in life, ways to show love to friends or how they love Jesus. You can see some of these below.
Think about: how can you show your love to your friends and those you meet over the holidays? How we can put Jesus and others first. Take a look at Philipians 2:3-5 - Don't be selfish; don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
