This week, we started a new series, Evan’s Child. We last did this series three years ago, so hopefully even the children who’ve done it before will get something different from it this time! The series as a whole teaches us what it’s like to be a child of God, and our first session is…
We started off by having huge amounts of fun and mess with shaving foam and food colouring to produce some beautiful marbled paper to represent Earth (apologies if some children came home a bit green!) Whilst these were drying we heard a story about Mr Earth and some of the ways in which Earth is…
With so many families away for half term, Pebbles joined forces with Rocks & Topz! We had a lot of fun together, starting with some songs, then doing a treasure hunt to find pictures of animals. Of course, we made lots of animal noises as we talked about the pictures – but what noise does…

There will be no morning service on Sun 8th February. Instead, we will be meeting at Chard Baptist Church at 6pm for refreshments, starting our service at 6.30pm. We’ll be led by our worship team with a ‘Focus on a Song’ theme.
Going Deeper is back! On Sunday 25th Jan, 6.30-8pm, is the first of our new Going Deeper sessions. These evening meetings, held at Forefront Community Centre, enable us to do a deeper dive into the Bible and its application. This time, Nigel will be speaking on The Gospel in an Identity Culture – how does the gospel…
