The children did a great job in hunting down some puzzle pieces to make up a picture of Samuel anointing David. We also had a choosing game to see what images we would choose and gave the reasons why. We heard the story of God choosing David – despite him being the youngest, weakest and out with the sheep. God looks at the heart – what our attitude towards him is. The children made some fantastic chosen heart glasses to remind us that God has chosen us and he wants us to love him.

There is a picture below – maybe you can try and remember what all the stories were. What do you think about the fact that Jesus has chosen you?
