Rocks and Topz looked at the story of Abraham. God made some big promises to him - including the fact that his family would grow so large they would outnumber the stars in the sky! But not only would his family be huge, someone in his family would one day come to rescue everyone and make a way for us to be friends with God again.
We get to see how the promises that God made to Abraham have come true, but it wasn't always easy for Abraham, not knowing what would happen next - after all, the promise of a big family seemed impossible when Abraham and Sarah were so old and had no children! But he trusted God anyway.
As a reminder of God's promises we made a picture of Abraham counting the stars in the sky. We also had fun making our own constellations with marshmallows and cocktail sticks - they were delicious!
Think about: have you ever made a family tree? You don't have to go so far back that there are too many to count but it might be fun to try a few generations. You could also pray for those in your family who don't know Jesus yet.
