This week we took a brief look at Peter's story, how he met Jesus after an unsuccessful fishing trip and how he left everything to follow Jesus. We talked about how Jesus calls us to follow him too, and how sometimes that might mean giving up things that are important to us.
However, at that point we got distracted by a seagull stealing a pack of breadsticks from Pebbles! We ended our session with a choice of craft (a boat picture to remind us of the story) or time to play with the babies - always fun!
Think about:
Peter left everything to follow Jesus - his home, family and job. Why do you think he chose to leave everything behind? What would you find hardest to leave behind if Jesus asked you to?
