Before Jesus went back home to his Father, he gave his friends an important job – “Go everywhere and tell everyone the happy news!” The happy news that God loves us and sent his son to die for us. The happy news that because Jesus defeated death, death isn’t the end for us. The happy news that we get to live with our Father forever because Jesus has rescued us.
It’s amazing to think of that huge long chain of people telling other people about Jesus for the last 2000 years that means that we’ve heard the happy news too! And we have a responsibility to keep passing it on.
Our craft this week reminded us of what Jesus did, and that it’s our job to tell more people.
