The children learnt about Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane. Even though he was betrayed and people came for him with swords, everything that happened was part of God’s plan to rescue the world. Jesus had the power to stop everything that happened, but he went through with it because he loves us.
We ran out of time to finish our craft, as we spent quite a bit of time creating actions for a song we’ll be doing at the nativity service!
