Polly Checkley has been a worship leader for many years and loves to spend time with Jesus through scripture and song. After becoming a widow and single mum in her thirties, Polly has struggled with depression and could only lean into Jesus to learn how she is truly accepted and loved by Him. Polly is now married to Ben and recently left her career as a maths teacher to do ‘music ministry’ with co-worker and friend Sue Crossman and their band Hopestream Worship: hosting ‘Reasons to Worship’ Youtube devotionals; writing and producing new worship songs, and leading worship for events - all to share the Hope found only in Jesus Christ. To be further equipped for this work Polly is completing an evangelism training course with Counties Connect.
