The children added some fabulous flowers and birds to our chalk picture and we also played a game of Bird Bingo. We heard the story of ‘The Singer’ in our Jesus Storybook bible which is about Jesus telling the people how we are more important than the birds he feeds and the flowers he clothes. He tells us not to worry!
The children then made some homemade stickers of birds and flowers to remind them of the story. You can see some of the things they got up to below.
Think about: you might want to try and identify some of the birds from your stickers or look up some exotic birds and flowers from other countries. Thank God for them all and for everything he made. This week, if you are worried about something, talk to Jesus and remind yourself that he tells us not to worry. If you are worried about someone else you can pray for them.
