In our Vision Sunday meeting, the first Sunday of the year, we launched this year’s theme verse and focus. Drawn from 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, we are exploring the depths of the new creation made possible by Jesus’s death on the Cross; the work he has done to reconcile all who will have faith in him to God; and our role as ambassadors of reconciliation.
We plan for this to be a year with a renewed focus on prayer; a commitment to equipping all members for the roles they have; a focus on reaching out to bless our neighours, our town and the world; and deepening our sense of dependency on the Spirit of God as we pray and work for God’s Kingdom to come.
