We’d love to invite you to join us for our service this week. We’re continuing our series ‘God’s world in God’s word’. This week Jo will be speaking to us about ‘God’s creation, it’s in our care’.
Please take a look at Genesis 1:27-31. Laura & Sheila will be leading our time together.
Throughout the service we will hear from different members of our congregation and how they show care for God’s creation. Make sure you have a pen and paper to hand to make a note of new ideas – perhaps there will be some things you can do but hadn’t thought of! We will also be singing How Great Thou Art and This Is Amazing Grace. Words are attached so you can join in.
As Sheila and Laura were preparing, they came across this video by Tearfund, Theory of Poverty. It outlines the brokenness of creation, the impact that has on us as individuals and communities around the world, along with the redemption and restoration that Jesus brings. A lot of the themes are ones that Jo will be speaking on, so give it a watch if you have four minutes to spare!
