ForeCast 10th January – Joshua!

Topic: Joshua – The Making of a Leader

Time: 10.30am on Sunday 10th January 2021

This week we begin to follow up the message of Vision Sunday with the start of a new series on Joshua. Jo Kerr will share the lessons we can learn from Joshua’s commissioning to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land and their relevance for us today. David will lead the service and we will hear from church family members who have first hand experience of the Covid virus. Join us at 10.25.

The following songs are suggested as we prepare to worship together. Click on the following links below.

The Splendour of the King, Chris Tomlin, 5’04”

I see the King of glory, Hillsong, 5’14”

Be still for the presence of the Lord, Emmaus Music, 3’14”

And here’s a new worship recording on a Joshua-related theme, in a Pentecostal style, which you may enjoy before or after the service. It includes the lyrics, “When I lift my voice and shout, Every wall comes crashing down, I have the authority, Jesus has given me, When I open up my mouth, Miracles start breaking out”

Champion, Maverick City Music, 7’14”

After the service we have our informal “after-ForeCast coffee and chat”. If you’re a member, you will have received a link to the Zoom. If not, and you’d like to join us, we’d like to meet you! Contact us and we’ll send you the link, too.
