ForeCast 1 November – masters and slaves

Thanks for joining us on Sunday for a packed ForeCast Sunday service! Keith continued the theme of Christ’s light shining through our domestic relationships, looking at the slave-and-master dynamic described in Ephesians 6:5-9, and the principles we can apply today. If you are still to watch the service, have bread and wine ready as Paul led communion.
.
Our memory verse this week is Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
.
We were thinking about our jobs and the work that we do, asked members to send photos of an object that represents their work. This turned into a fun competition, guessing members from their visual clue. See the results at https://forefront.org.uk/your-job-as-an-object/

Still to watch? Want a worship reprise? Sing along to these Christian songs:
O Praise the Name (Hillsong, 5.29) Praise Jesus for the way his death has brought us life!
No Longer Slaves (Jonathan David and Melissa Helser, 6.09) a celebration of the freedom we can experience as chosen and loved children of God
May the Words of my Mouth (Christy Nockels, 4.39) a prayer that our whole lives will be lived in response to everything that Jesus has done for us
One (Seeds Family Worship, 2.54)  Jane shared this song a few weeks ago and it’s a great reminder that we are all one in Christ Jesus, united by him
