Thanks for joining ForeCast #3

It’s week three of the lockdown, but our spirits are unchained in Christ! “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!” (Galatians 5:1)

Please click here to watch again our third ForeCast collective service of worship and prayer, livestreamed on Sunday from 10:25am.

Our ForeCast livestream was led by Abbie. We enjoyed the closing instalment of our series on the book of Amos, with a reflection given by Mike Strange, the Counties Evangelist for Somerset and chair of Somerset SACRE, the County Council committee responsible for Religious Education and Collective Worship. Mike and Su are valued friends of Forefront and it was a joy to maintain our fellowship in this way. We experimented with live prayers from watchers on the chat, in addition to Rhona’s thoughts from Chard Reservoir. And we had some thoughts from the 180 youth on how to thrive in lockdown.

Don’t forget, if you have testimonies of how God has used you, spoken to you or comforted you during these challenging times, let us know in time for next week’s service. Send them to Nigel, who will be our next service leader.

Worship

Abbie read from the song Praise You In This Storm, by the worship group Casting Crowns. You can see that song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgpaULjZOl8

And she recommended this, as a source of hope and worship: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY4CW5pte98

Colin Little has kindly suggested three worship songs which we can all listen to, and join in with, before or after the ForeCast. Thanks Colin!

Participating in Live Chat

You need to be signed into a Google account to add comments and join in live prayers by typing in the chat. We circulated Joel’s has tip-sheet for those who need help with that – please ask Martyna if you didn’t receive it. It is more straightforward if you have a gmail account, but also possible if you have another e-mail provider. If you’re struggling to do this please let us know.
