Jesus has time for me!

We started off with a game which ended with a map and we prayed for some of the children of the world. We heard the story of the disciples trying to stop the children seeing Jesus as he was tired and didn’t have time for them. Jesus absolutely wanted to see them! We made some watches to show that ‘Jesus has time for me’. We talked about how adults can learn from this story and as one child pointed out – know that children are awesome! He wants all of us to be able to come to him – wherever we are, whatever we have done and however we feel.

Think about: Remind yourself that we don’t have to wait till we are ‘good enough’ to come to Jesus.  Why not draw or paint a picture this week of the story and stick it somewhere to remind yourself that God loves you.?
