We had a fun ‘storm’ game which saw fish and figures flying all over the ocean and then read the story of Jesus calming the storm from our Jesus Storybook Bible.
How amazing for the disciples to discover that Jesus could also control the weather! We chatted about how we might have felt – stunned, a bit confused, scared and happy all at the same time.
The children made some great ‘storm’ then ‘calm’ pictures that allowed them to remove the huge waves. You can see some of their work below.
Think about: We talked about the fact that sometimes our lives can feel a bit stormy, especially if we are going through something difficult. If you are, why not pray with your parents about the situation knowing that Jesus hears us.
