Revelation

We started off by having huge amounts of fun and mess with shaving foam and food colouring to produce some beautiful marbled paper to represent Earth (apologies if some children came home a bit green!) Whilst these were drying we heard a story about Mr Earth and some of the ways in which Earth is a bit ill.

We recapped our learning about Creation last week from the beginning of the Bible and how we are on our last story in the Jesus Storybook Bibles! We heard about John and his writing of Revelation. There is more to come for us, not just being saved now but a new home to look forward to. A complete finish to badness and death and a celebration of thanks and worship to Jesus the true King. He will return and fix everything that is broken.

The children did some decorating and added, God will make everything new, to their marbled worlds.

This week see if you can remember what the word Revelation means. Write down some things that make you sad in your life and the world and thank God that one day there will be no more sadness or crying. Pray that he can use you even now to make things a little better.
