This week, the group learned about how Jesus called his disciples to follow him. James, John, Simon and Andrew left everything they had to follow Jesus straight away. We all agreed that that would be really hard to do, especially without really knowing who Jesus was or what he was calling them to do! But we also agreed that their choice to follow him paid off, and led to some amazing experiences.
We had fun (and some frustrations!) playing a fishing game, and made some great collages of the disciples by the seashore.
Think about: what does it means for us to follow Jesus today? How is it similar to what the disciples had to do? How is it different?
