Steve gave us a brilliant overview, on Sunday, about what is wrong with the world, using the following texts Romans 2:1-29; 3:1-19.
His message was that one of the main things wrong with the world is that we have forgotten about the judgement of God. Paul teaches us that everyone will be accountable before God – first Jews, then Gentiles. No favouritism will be shown, all will be punished equally.
The good news is that we have an advocate – someone who will vouch for us on the Day of Judgement (Jn 10:27-28; Matt 28:20). Steve’s challenge to us was, do we really believe this message of judgement, love and forgiveness and are we ready to share this with our family, friends and neighbours?
