“I am so eager to share the gospel” – Mike asked if that was true of us in his sermon this week.
As he spoke on Rom 1:14-17, he challenged us to overcome our fears of being a ‘nobody’ and to realise that we are no different from the disciples; that we, like them, have a God-given opportunity to share the good news, whoever we are, wherever we are. He gives examples of Gipsy Smith, a publican and a quarryman who all realised that the gospel is not about them but all about God.
