On Sunday, David spoke on the theme of “the Gospel for a godless society” based on Romans 1:18-32.
The passage reveals that a godless society ignores the witness of the created realm and in rejecting the divine order has no clear moral basis for living and descends into lawlessness. Society’s rebellion leads to a breakdown in relationships firstly with God and then between men and women.
The society that Paul describes mirrors the situation in Britain today and requires the same response – the Gospel.
