God’s Cure for Sin

Richard shared on ‘God’s cure for sin’, using Romans 3:21-31. He talked about Paul wanting to unpack this for the early Christians – a bit like the T&Cs you might get after the main headlines. Nothing has been added to the law or the truth of the gospel, but a reminder of how things work is always helpful.

Richard went on to challenge us to think of who we might be in the story of the Good Samaritan. Rather than perhaps aspiring to be like the Good Samaritan, we come to realise that we are all in the ‘ditch’ and the only saviour we have is Jesus. There is no-one who can save themselves – we all fall short.
