The basic text for the message was Ephesians 6:12 that states clearly that, as Christians, our real enemy is not the people who surround us but the spiritual forces of evil.

Jesus not only encountered disruption from demon-possessed individuals but Satan influenced the various actors involved such as religious leaders, kings and governors and even disciples to hinder his ministry. The Ephesians passage alerts us that we must be equipped spiritually to take on a hidden enemy.
