Psalm 63 – Thirst and Provision

Charles led us through Psalm 63 – a psalm of longing and of food for the soul; of thirst and of provision. Like many of the psalms, there is an element of crying out to God, of desperation to be heard, but also an outflowing of praise and thanksgiving. Charles talked us through different Hebrew words used in the psalm to describe praise – shabak, barak, aranen, yahallel, yismak – and illustrated these with some practical applications. He ended with an encouragement for us all to get creative in our expressions of gratitude to God.
